Role Overview

The Technical Product Specialist is a highly customer-facing technical role responsible for positioning, demonstrating, and validating the UnityOne AI platform within complex enterprise environments. Reporting Structure: This position is part of the Customer Success team and reports directly to the Head of Customer Success, collaborating closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Partner teams to support customer adoption and success. The ideal candidate brings 6–8 years of experience, strong hands-on exposure to enterprise observability, IT operations, and cost management platforms, and excels in solutioning, architecture fitment, RFP/RFI responses, curated demonstrations, and C-level presentations.

Key Responsibilities

Product Expertise & Technical Authority

  • Serve as a technical authority on UnityOne AI architecture, capabilities, integrations, and use cases.
  • Translate platform capabilities into clear business, operational, and financial outcomes.

Solutioning, Architecture & Bid Support

  • Lead creation of customer-facing technical materials, including:
    • RFP and RFI responses
    • Solution proposals and technical narratives
    • Architecture diagrams and fitment documentation
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to deliver accurate, differentiated bid responses.

Demonstrations & Executive Storytelling

  • Create and deliver executive-ready presentations for:
    • CIO, CTO, CDO, CISO
    • Leaders across IT Operations, Data Centre, FinOps, and Sustainability
  • Lead boardroom-level discussions, clearly articulating value, ROI, and strategic differentiation.

Proof of Value (POV) & Technical Validation

  • Own Proof of Value (POV) engagements end-to-end.
  • Define and track success metrics across cost, performance, automation, and sustainability.
  • Validate UnityOne AI’s fit alongside existing enterprise tools and operational workflows.

Partner & Customer Enablement

  • Enable system integrators and technology partners on UnityOne AI capabilities and positioning, including setting up and configuring UnityOne instances in GSI partner labs for hands-on demonstrations, testing, and joint solution validation.
  • Support customer onboarding, early adoption, and expansion opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience

  • 6–8 years in a customer-facing technical role such as Technical Product Specialist, Solutions Architect, or Sales Engineer.

Tool & Platform Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
    • Observability & Cloud Management: Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, LogicMonitor, BMC, or similar platforms.
    • Automation Platforms: Zapier, n8n, Workato, or equivalent.
    • FinOps & Cost Management: Apptio or similar cost transparency platforms.
  • Exposure to public cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI.

Communication & Business Skills

  • Proven ability to create high-quality, customer-facing technical content.
  • Strong executive presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex architectures into clear, strategic narratives.
  • Demonstrated collaboration across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
