About the Role

Account Executive / Senior Account Executive

UnitedLayer & UnityOneAI are seeking high‑performing Account Executives (AE/Sr. AE) to drive new business across cloud, data center, AI/automation, and managed infrastructure solutions. This is a quota‑carrying outbound sales role for individuals who thrive in ownership, accountability, and building lasting relationships with mid‑market and enterprise customers

(Direct Sales – UnitedLayer & UnityOneAI)

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → discovery → solution mapping → proposal → negotiation → close the deal.
  • Conduct consistent outbound outreach through calls, email, LinkedIn, and personalized engagement to build a strong pipeline.
  • Develop deep understanding of customer pain points and position UnitedLayer/UnityOneAI’s value proposition effectively.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with CXOs, IT leadership, and technical buyers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, SDR, and Solution Engineering teams to execute targeted campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate CRM hygiene, forecasting, and account notes.
  • Hit and exceed quarterly revenue and pipeline targets.
  • Stay current on cloud, data center, hybrid IT, and AI industry trends.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of B2B technology sales experience (cloud, infrastructure, SaaS, managed services preferred).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Strong outbound prospecting DNA – comfortable building your own pipeline vs. relying on inbound.
  • Excellent communication, discovery, and relationship‑building skills.
  • High accountability mindset: ownership, follow‑through, self‑management.
  • Ability to understand both business and technical conversations.
  • Experience using CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Email/Outbound automation – Outreach/Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.).
