Position Overview

We are looking for a young, driven, and customer-focused Sales Executive / Associate to join our growing team in Dallas, Texas. This role is ideal for someone with 3 to 6 years of experience in cloud and infrastructure sales and a passion for in-person customer engagement. The role is field-heavy, with up to 80% travel to meet potential and existing customers, build relationships, and close deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in cloud and IT infrastructure services within the Dallas region
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to meet with prospects and customers, understand needs, and present UnitedLayer solutions
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and closure
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, including IT Managers, CIOs, and CTOs
  • Track activities, leads, and pipeline through CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
  • Attend relevant industry events, customer meetings, and networking opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams (presales, delivery, and marketing) to support customer acquisition and success

Candidate Profile

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in cloud and infrastructure sales (e.g., private cloud, hybrid cloud, DRaaS, managed services)
  • Strong experience in field sales or territory sales, with a proven ability to meet customers face-to-face
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads, pitch solutions, and close deals independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional presence
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Familiar with CRM tools like Salesforce for activity tracking and pipeline management
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field preferred
