What does the future behold? One can only predict; however we feel that we will continue to see an increase in virtualization over the next few years. A common theme seems to be that more companies are looking to virtualization at budget time, as there has been an increase in awareness of the cost benefit of virtualization over adding resources and purchasing infrastructure. In addition, as enterprises learn that virtualization is a way for them to expand their footprint – as cost effectively as possible, as will the popularity grow. We will continue to see the trend of companies moving away from keeping their servers and more likely to look at services to virtualize and put in the hands of hosting provider.
