UnitedLayer® Opens Cutting Edge Datacenter in Los Angeles
SAN FRANCISCO, CA- August 15, 2007 – UnitedLayer® expands into a 3,000 square foot datacenter in Los Angeles adding to their growing list of strategically placed datacenters located throughout North America.

UnitedLayer® knows that power delivery and environmental controls are crucial to the success of their datacenters. During the recent power event in San Francisco UnitedLayers’® customers did not experience any downtime. UnitedLayer® has partnered with DPAir Corporation, the leading provider of datacenter design, build and maintenance in the west to provide state-of-the art HVAC, cooling tower and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) equipment for the new datacenter. DPAir recently installed two 20-ton HVAC units and modified ductwork to optimize airflow. DPAir also provided consultation on the installation of the center’s new UPS and maintenance bypass equipment to ensure the facility’s round-the-clock operation.
