UnitedLayer® completes acquisition of Bungi Communications, Inc.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – UnitedLayer® has recently acquired in an all stock transaction, the boutique IP transit company called Bungi Communications, Inc. Bungi was founded in 2004 by Dave Rand, a founder of Abovenet Communications. Bungi communications, Inc. has been providing IP transit services to a variety of companies and the transition to UnitedLayer’s® network shall be seamless to the customers.
Dave Rand states that “UnitedLayer® is an exciting company that has weathered the early decades downturn. As an emerging managed infrastructure services company, I see great potential for the one-stop shop concept and hope to be accretive to building that vision.
