Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect advanced IP networks that meet evolving requirements, focusing on high availability, scalability, and security.
• Develop IP addressing and routing schemes to optimize network performance, segmentation, and isolation.
• Collaborate with security architects to integrate firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPNs, and other security mechanisms into the network architecture.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality implementations.
• Analyze network traffic and performance to identify bottlenecks, implementing solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Assist in evaluating vendors and selecting networking hardware, including routers, switches, and other critical equipment.
• Document all aspects of the network architecture, including design diagrams, configuration templates, and operational procedures.
• Stay informed about emerging networking technologies, protocols, and trends, offering strategic recommendations for future improvements.

Required Skills and Experience

• Extensive knowledge of IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), network design principles, and industry best practices.
• Strong expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, VXLAN, SD-WAN, and network virtualization technologies.
• Proficiency with network security technologies, including VPNs, firewalls, IPS/IDS, and ACLs.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex network issues.
• Familiarity with cloud networking (e.g., Azure) and hybrid-cloud architectures.
• Relevant certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
