UnitedLayer’s 200 Paul Colocation
Facilitates Enhanced COVID-19 Protection!
UnitedLayer Colocation Facility Made COVID-19 Secure!
San Francisco, March 2020— With the outbreak of coronavirus, we at UnitedLayer San Francisco are bringing in some measures to uphold business continuity and alleviate the risk allied with the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The UnitedLayer San Francisco facility will be implementing the following additional protocols, effective from this week:
Targeted Cleaning & Sterilization of High-Traffic, High-Touch Areas
The UnitedLayer San Francisco facility will perform targeted cleaning for high traffic areas every day with a focus on, but not limited to, visitor check-in areas, door handles, biometric readers, restrooms & shared breakroom environments. Additional cleaning protocols will be executed in the event an onsite virus case is confirmed and full building sanitation or evacuation is required by authorities.
Enhanced Lobby Screening Protocols
All persons entering a UnitedLayer San Francisco facility (i.e., UnitedLayer staff, customers, visitors, or vendors) will be vocally screened by security in the lobby prior to being allowed access. If the vocal inspection results in an affirmative risk response, the individual will be asked not to enter the facility and the site team will advise the main point of contact for the customer or supplier. The screening inquiries will consist of validation of the following:
- Are you currently facing any flu-like symptoms (including fever, body aches/pain, sore throat, cough, or shortness of breath)?
- Have you been in contact with a confirmed Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) patient in the past 14 days?
- Have you visited any of the following countries in the past 14 days – including the UK, Brazil, Italy, or Iran?
To guarantee the wellbeing of our staff, customers, and visitors, UnitedLayer is reserving the right to deny access to any individual answering YES to any of the inquiries above. We apologize in advance for any anticipated inconvenience or delays that may occur as a result of this screening process. We will continue to align our protocols based on the guidelines delivered by regional governmental or public health agencies to alleviate disruption or risk to your critical operations. We are here to help you by taking care of your remote hand needs in the San Francisco facility, so you can work from home and be safe.
